Tuesday, December 1, 2015

Hi readers,

Don't let winter weather dampen your spirit. My makeup is mostly #nyx products. This is a late post because my hair is now brunette again. I miss that platinum!

Oscars 2015-Style Inspiration

Thursday, February 26, 2015

Hi friends!

I watched the Oscars last Sunday, so my friend decided to do a fun photo shoot during them. I had so much fun while our make-up artist friend was visiting from LA. I mean free awesome fashion shoots plus getting my makeup done. SIGN ME UP. I have lots of editing to do soon, but wanted to get something up in the meantime. My leather jacket is from The Kooples and my fur pink coat is from Zara. I was lucky to get the pink coat last minute sale during my Miami vacation this month.

NYX Cosmetics-Small Beauty Haul

Monday, January 12, 2015

Readers!

I'm going to do a beauty tutorial about NYX cosmetics soon. I bought a lipstick and a eye pencil sharpener from CVS yesterday and gave the matte lipstick color "Alabama" a try today. I used Philosophy lip shine "My Heart to Yours" over the top. I bought NYX matte lipstick "Indie Flick" and butter gloss "Peaches and Cream" and will post about those later. Enjoy!

Celebrities with and without Makeup

Friday, April 12, 2013

Readers,

I am such a girl sometimes. We all see too many magazines, photos, videos of celebrities and compare beauty to what they look like and I'm tired of it. Now we have all seen video and photo's of celebrity before and after Photoshop, and I want us to really take a close look at this phenomenon. My biggest pet peeve of Photoshop is getting rid of all those wrinkles or imperfections that make use human. I don't know about you but I've worked really hard to get some of these wrinkles so I'd like people to see them. Please don't confuse me when I'm saying this because I want to feel pretty just like the next girl but I do want to set realistic expectations for myself. Let's all take care of our bodies and more importantly our minds. Here are some photos so we can all realize everyone is human; the same goes for you celebrities. Happy Friday!

Makeup from NY Fashion Week

Thursday, February 14, 2013

Hi friends!

Happy Valentine's Day of course! I have been saving up a TON of blog article ideas and my friend Sam and I are going to do a makeup one from NY Fashion Week. I wanted to give you ladies some ideas too for your makeup tonight possibly and in the future for a change up. I am going to post pictures early next week of my friend Sam Levi doing my makeup to look like the models and show you how different it looks than everyday makeup.

To my friend's in the Kansas City area or my followers elsewhere I hope you have an awesome Valentine's Day. I'm going to post ridiculous Red Lobster bib pictures tomorrow and show that I can still fit into my Prom Dress from my Junior year in High School. Hell, if that isn't an accomplishment of some sorts I don't know what is; it isn't going to fit after dinner tonight. TOO MANY CHEESY BISCUITS! Btw-let me know in the comments which 4 make-up looks are your favorite and I might choose yours! (PS-my favorite is second below)
