Summer Dress

Wednesday, October 26, 2016

Hi readers,

I found this photo from a few years ago and I liked the depth perception of it. Makes my legs look so long! I love this dress too and my shoes are Chinese Laundry. My earrings are some that my dad bought me a long time ago from Hawaii. I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!

Jeremy Scott Moschino

Thursday, April 14, 2016

Hello,

Tonight was so rad. I watched Jeremy Scott's film, and he did a Q&A afterwards. It was one of my favorite things I've ever done. He was so candid about growing up in KC, and his family was there supporting him. Really proud of where I live, and all the great people they're supporting. Go KC!

Clear Skin-Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing

Tuesday, November 17, 2015

Readers,

Have I told you I love this stuff? Don't mind the broccoli, I was fitting in this facial during my work lunch break :) I usually leave it on for approximately 20 minutes.  I mix just a little spoonful of the Aztec Clay with another 1 1/2 spoonfuls of Apple Vinegar and then use a foundation brush to mix + smooth onto my skin. I leave it on for about 20 minutes. Don't worry afterwards if your face is a little red, that means it worked! Let me know how it worked for you. I bought my Aztec Clay from my local Nature's Own but you can purchase it online too. The product lasts FOREVER so it should be a staple in your beauty closet for you.

PS-I was having my lunch break at my house + making this mask. MULTITASKING TO THE RESCUE!

KC Royals Parade Celebration!

Friday, November 6, 2015

GUYS!

So, if you read my blog at all you know I live in Kansas City. I LOVE THIS TOWN. It's the best kept secret in the US, and I love that my team The Royals won The World Series!   (I mean we did wait 30 years for it) My hubby found my amazing vintage 1985 jacket on Ebay for a great price of $50.00 + $10.00 shipping. I wanted to borrow these photos from my wonderful friend Samantha Levi Photography  / Samantha Levi Photography FB  We had such a great day seeing the iconic parade with differing reports of over 400,000 people crammed into our crossroads + downtown KC areas. Thanks for the follow. Expect more posts soon.

Mid Coast Event

Monday, August 31, 2015

Hi readers!

I'm very excited this week to attend Mid Coast Event this week in KC! My friends Drew Taylor of Selfmade Threads, and Ocean & Sea founders Brendan & Amanda O’Shaughnessy are selling their products. I'm excited to check out the other vendors that I haven't met in person yet too :) All proceeds from the event go to Truman Medical Center, helping families with their newborn babies. Read more about it below. I will do a follow-up post this week after I attend the event, and will show you what I purchased, and what I wore to the event. I hope to see a lot of you there! It will be a great time to catch up with my friends and help a great cause. I wanted to include a few photos too from a recent photoshoot for this event from my friend Samantha Levi.

ABOUT:

On Thursday, September 3 the Truman Medical Center's Young Leaders Collective is proud to present the Mid C.O.A.S.T.(C.reative O.ptions, A.lternatives, and S.tylish T.rends) Event at The Monarch Room, which will bring all of the glamour and production of a high-end runway show to the urban charm of a pop-up shop. The event will include hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, and some of Kansas City's leading top designers. Attendees will be able to purchase the latest KC styles and trends (many debuting during the event with local models) from brands such as Bandwagon Merchandise, Easy Tiger, Ocean & Sea, Sideline Chic, and Selfmade Threads. The event will also feature the sounds of local DJ JT Quick and prize giveaways. All proceeds from the event will go to Truman Medical Center, helping families and their newborn babies.

Boulevardia KC 2015

Friday, June 19, 2015

Readers!

OMG. I have so many new posts coming soon; thanks for those that are still following my blog. I am still trying to get into a better rhythm on posting more often plus adding enough quantity. I just wanted to do a throwback to #boulevardia last year! I plan to attend this weekend too, so I'll post more pictures soon! (You can tell this was last year because my hair it white now ;)

Small country, big ambition.

Because a desirable society stands on principle and aspires higher, Boulevardia is no everyday experience. It’s a gathering unlike any other, one that elevates and combines the best aspects of beer, food and music festivals to relentlessly reward all who cross over our borders. It honors the rich past of our grounds while setting the agenda for future celebrations and sharing our commitment to important causes. It also highlights our good fortune to be able to regularly drink from our fountain of youth and truth: Boulevard Brewery. So come share it all with us and be a part of local history in the making.

Christmas Gifts-Jewelry

Thursday, January 8, 2015

Hi readers!

I wanted to post a few pieces of jewelry I received from my husband for Christmas. They are all from different designers: Baleen, Isabella M. Boston, and Liberty United. I purchased my Baleen bracelet from Raygun t-shirts here in Kansas City, Isabella M. Boston ring from TJ Maxx, and the Liberty United bracelet online. Enjoy! I'm going to do a youtube video tonight showing my favorite blonde haircare items.
