Good morning everyone!

The day has arrived that you can watch our first video of The 18th Street Fashion Show. Thanks so much for being patient with me and I should have two more videos in this trilogy soon. Enjoy the wonderfully talented Sara Cramer. I know I enjoyed interviewing her and her
beautiful work is really going places.

AIGA-KC: Homegrown Fashion

Friday, February 8, 2013

Happy Friday!

Last night I had the privilege to attend AIGA-KC's event Homegrown: Fashion for my friend Sarah Nelsen. It was a really nice event to attend after a long day at work and to support the local fashion industry in Kansas City. There was a panel of local fashion and design talent that spoke about the collaborative process of design in the fashion industry. http://kc.aiga.org/event/homegrown-fashion/
The different speakers did a great job of explaining what their company is and each speaker spoke for about 10-15 minutes on their different clients/jobs/design process. The AIGA did a really nice job organizing this event and the event space in River Market is beautiful.

Robbie and I met the ladies from Ampersand Studio and bought a new print to add to our apartment. It's bright neon pink so I'm not exactly sure where we are going to hang it but I'm sure we will find it a nice home. Be Present. I love that saying. Here are those cute ladies at Ampersand Design Studio:
