Chanté Gossett-Part 1

Friday, September 26, 2014

Hi readers,

Chanté Gossett has two solid fashion shows under her belt; daydreaming of her next one as we speak. I appreciate the attention to detail that goes into her events and the humility her personality still displays. I'm waiting for the day she starts charging entrance into her events,  the day I can't even afford to go. Until then I'm still on the inside, I'll keep trying to get as close to her brilliance, keep trying to have some of it rub off on me.

I WENT BLONDE!

Thursday, August 7, 2014

Hi everyone!

SO big news. I WENT BLONDE AND I DID IT MYSELF! I know one of my most popular posts is how to dye your hair with coffee so I won't be able to illustrate that anymore to my readers. BUT I will have lots of fun things to do for my readers involving all things blonde. It's really changed the way I look and I love it! I am starting to try and do video tutorials and post them on my Youtube channel I want to start. Stay tuned and I have a lot of work ahead of me. I'm trying to learn iMovie so be gentle on my first movie plus on iMovie and my poor video quality from my phone.

PS-all these opinions are my own and I am not a professional hair dresser. I was not paid for this product nor endorse to use this product.

Bike Share Kansas City Featured in: The Pitch KC

Thursday, June 5, 2014

Hi readers!

Just a little blog post of my new advertisement I was featured in for Bike Share Kansas City http://bikesharekc.com To read a little more about this organization look to the website and read below. My friend wanted my husband and I to pose for a few shots for their campaign which we were happy to oblige. Can't wait to see the rest of them and I'll edit + post more photos when I receive them.

Kansas City B-Cycle powered by Blue KC is a partnership between BikeWalkKC and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. It is owned and operated by Bike Share KC, a 501(c)3 Missouri nonprofit corporation. We are the country's only advocate-owned bike share system.

Bike sharing is designed for short trips in the city. It is a fun and convenient way to experience everything our city has to offer, transforming the city into a healthier, more livable, and economically competitive place to live, work, and play.

Visit my friend Zach Bauman's photography website to see more of his delicious photograph portfolio and go to The Pitch Kansas City to read more of their great articles in this months issue.

Middle of the Map Festival 2014

Thursday, May 29, 2014

Readers!

So one of my absolute favorite things about Kansas City is Middle of the Map Festival. My great friends Nathan Reusch and Chris Haghirian started this festival and it has been going strong for a couple of years. This year was my first time at SXSW but I have to say I enjoyed MOTMfest much more. One of my favorite bands Big Black Delta performed and I turned into a 14 year old girl screaming/singing to every Big Black Delta song. Yes, I totally was "THAT GIRL." I hope that MOTM keeps its local vibe while still maintain all the big acts it needs to pull in each year to make a good investment.

I have more photos of the event to post but wanted to get started on a series of three blog posts dedicated to that fun day. I meant to document more of my outfits I wore around Westport to the concerts but I was having too much fun getting into trouble. Enjoy this post for now until post two and three make their appearance. Thanks for continuing to follow my blog. I truly appreciate you.

See what bands performed:

PS-aren't you obbssed with my friends Boston Terrier purse like I am? Perhaps it's because I own one too.

Professional Fashion Shoot-53tom.com / Zach Bauman Behind the Scenes Fashion Shoot

Monday, April 14, 2014

Readers!

Here is a sneak peak of my first professional fashion shoot with www.53tom.com
My friend at Zach Bauman at http://www.zachbphotography.com helped take a few of the behind the scene photographs for me yesterday. I had NO idea how much work modeling was! I was wearing this heavy fabric, trying to focus on making a pretty face, and moving the fabric to take a pretty shot. It was nuts! SO excited to see the finished photographs and to share them with you all! Stayed tuned for a FULL post soon. The fashion concept was moving fabric and my version of the "little black dress."
