Clear Skin-Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing

Tuesday, November 17, 2015

Readers,

Have I told you I love this stuff? Don't mind the broccoli, I was fitting in this facial during my work lunch break :) I usually leave it on for approximately 20 minutes.  I mix just a little spoonful of the Aztec Clay with another 1 1/2 spoonfuls of Apple Vinegar and then use a foundation brush to mix + smooth onto my skin. I leave it on for about 20 minutes. Don't worry afterwards if your face is a little red, that means it worked! Let me know how it worked for you. I bought my Aztec Clay from my local Nature's Own but you can purchase it online too. The product lasts FOREVER so it should be a staple in your beauty closet for you.

PS-I was having my lunch break at my house + making this mask. MULTITASKING TO THE RESCUE!

KC Royals Parade Celebration!

GUYS!

So, if you read my blog at all you know I live in Kansas City. I LOVE THIS TOWN. It's the best kept secret in the US, and I love that my team The Royals won The World Series!   (I mean we did wait 30 years for it) My hubby found my amazing vintage 1985 jacket on Ebay for a great price of $50.00 + $10.00 shipping. I wanted to borrow these photos from my wonderful friend Samantha Levi Photography  / Samantha Levi Photography FB  We had such a great day seeing the iconic parade with differing reports of over 400,000 people crammed into our crossroads + downtown KC areas. Thanks for the follow. Expect more posts soon.

Mid Coast Event

Monday, August 31, 2015

Hi readers!

I'm very excited this week to attend Mid Coast Event this week in KC! My friends Drew Taylor of Selfmade Threads, and Ocean & Sea founders Brendan & Amanda O’Shaughnessy are selling their products. I'm excited to check out the other vendors that I haven't met in person yet too :) All proceeds from the event go to Truman Medical Center, helping families with their newborn babies. Read more about it below. I will do a follow-up post this week after I attend the event, and will show you what I purchased, and what I wore to the event. I hope to see a lot of you there! It will be a great time to catch up with my friends and help a great cause. I wanted to include a few photos too from a recent photoshoot for this event from my friend Samantha Levi.

ABOUT:

On Thursday, September 3 the Truman Medical Center's Young Leaders Collective is proud to present the Mid C.O.A.S.T.(C.reative O.ptions, A.lternatives, and S.tylish T.rends) Event at The Monarch Room, which will bring all of the glamour and production of a high-end runway show to the urban charm of a pop-up shop. The event will include hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, and some of Kansas City's leading top designers. Attendees will be able to purchase the latest KC styles and trends (many debuting during the event with local models) from brands such as Bandwagon Merchandise, Easy Tiger, Ocean & Sea, Sideline Chic, and Selfmade Threads. The event will also feature the sounds of local DJ JT Quick and prize giveaways. All proceeds from the event will go to Truman Medical Center, helping families and their newborn babies.
